Through the Institute On Governance, and with funding from the Trillium Foundation, Meta4 principal Barbara Laskin developed, tested and conducted a series of Board governance workshops for CAO members in six centres across Ontario. As part of their training, participants received a workbook with exercises, tools and sample policies. A "train the trainers" portion of the project sought to ensure that communities would have ongoing recourse to a number of governance mentors.
